Description
Tapestry of Lives is a narrative weaving game where you connect character backstories to form a grand family saga across three centuries. Your task is to arrange biographical “threads” – events, relationships, and occupations – into a coherent timeline. Each correctly placed thread reveals a new generation, and the ultimate goal is to complete the entire family tree, discovering its hidden legacy.
The experience spans 250 threads (levels) , divided into ten decades. Early threads are single‑event placements, while later threads require cross‑referencing multiple characters and resolving contradictory accounts. We periodically introduce “founder’s tales” that add extra branches to the tree, ensuring the saga continues to evolve.
Visuals mimic an heirloom quilt, with fabric textures, embroidered borders, and sepia‑toned portraits that age as you progress. The colour palette is warm and earthy, with subtle gold highlights for completed branches. The drag‑and‑drop interface is intuitive, and a zoom function lets you inspect fine details without strain.
A “weaver’s hint” highlights possible connections when you pause, and you can earn “keepsake tokens” to unlock decorative frames for your completed tree. The game operates entirely offline after installation, and all progress is stored locally. Tapestry of Lives appeals to history buffs and storytellers alike – it sharpens chronological reasoning and offers a deeply satisfying way to unwind during rainy afternoons or lazy weekends.
