Stellar Drift: Constellation Quest invites you to navigate a starship through nebula fields, connecting stars to form constellations that power your vessel. Your core task is to plot courses that link the correct stars within a time limit – each successful constellation boosts your ship’s energy, allowing you to jump to the next sector. The overarching aim is to traverse all sectors and reach the galactic core.
The campaign features 255 sectors, each with a different star map and environmental hazards (asteroid fields, black holes). Early sectors require connecting three stars in a line; later sectors demand complex geometric patterns involving five or more stars, while avoiding moving obstacles. New “deep‑space sectors” are added bi‑monthly, expanding the galaxy.
Visually, the game offers a breathtaking view of deep space – vibrant nebulae, twinkling stars, and subtle lens flares. The ships and stars are rendered in crisp vector style, and the interface is overlaid with translucent holographic panels that do not obstruct the view. Controls are smooth, with adjustable sensitivity for both mouse and touch.
A “navigation beacon” provides directional assistance, and you can collect “stellar dust” to purchase visual ship skins. Offline mode is fully enabled, and you can pause any sector mid‑flight.
