Description
The Silent Garden is a contemplative puzzle game set in a zen garden where you arrange rocks, raked sand, and bonsai trees to create harmonious patterns. Your goal is to replicate a given “memory pattern” using a limited set of placement moves. Each successful replication opens a new garden terrace, and the final objective is to restore the forgotten master garden.
There are 230 terraces, each with a unique pattern and move budget. Early terraces require only three moves, while later terraces demand up to fifteen moves with overlapping constraints. We release “seasonal blooms” as free updates – these add ephemeral patterns that reflect real‑world seasons, keeping the garden ever‑changing.
The visual presentation is stunningly minimal: high‑resolution textures of sand, stone, and moss, with dynamic shadows that shift as you work. The soundtrack consists of ambient nature sounds – birdsong, wind, and water – that adjust to your pace. Controls are gesture‑based on touchscreens and mouse‑friendly on desktops, with haptic feedback on supported devices.
A “gardener’s eye” tool highlights potential placements, and you can earn “meditation stones” to unlock new garden ornaments. All data is saved offline, and you can reset individual terraces without penalty. The Silent Garden is a superb choice for stress relief and focus training; its gentle rhythm suits both brief moments of stillness and longer, immersive sessions.
