Description
Obsidian Spire is a vertical puzzle game where you ascend a dark tower by rearranging magnetic floor tiles to create continuous circuits. Your objective is to align tiles so that a current flows from the entrance to the exit on each floor – every successful circuit powers a lift that carries you upward. Reaching the spire’s summit, after all floors are cleared, is your ultimate achievement.
The tower comprises 255 floors, grouped into seven architectural tiers – from basalt foundations to crystalline pinnacles. Early floors have short, linear circuits; later floors introduce polarity switches, dead ends, and rotating tiles that change orientation with each move. New “observatory floors” are added seasonally, offering extra challenges for dedicated climbers.
The visual design is stark and dramatic – obsidian textures, glowing magenta lines, and a deep abyss visible through the tower’s windows. The interface is minimalist, with tile previews and a floor overview that helps you plan ahead. Animations are crisp, and the camera smoothly follows your ascent, maintaining a sense of progress.
A “circuit mapper” suggests the next logical tile to move, and you may earn “charge shards” to unlock alternate tile skins. The game stores your floor completion locally and allows offline play without interruption. Obsidian Spire appeals to spatial logic enthusiasts – it builds planning skills and concentration, making it a rewarding companion for quiet afternoons or pre‑sleep mental exercise.
